One side lower than other....

What's up everybody,
I've had my truck (03,ECSB,Silverado) for about 2 months now, and the other day I backed into my driveway and noticed that the driver side looked lower than the passenger. So I got the tape measure out, and sure enough the drivers side is about an inch lower than the passenger!! Do any of ya'll know what might be causing this, or better yet how to adjust or fix it?? Any input is greatly appreciated....

Yep, it is the gastank. Every 99-present 1500 I have seen has this problem. Even after changing out my spring to Hotchkis springs, it evenutally got lower on the drivers side. GM should have at least put the tank on the pass side. 75% of the time I am the only passenger in my truck so all the weight is on the drivers side.

My avalanche does this too.
A lot.
The funny thing is - it's not my drivers side leaning, it's the passenger side being too tall.
If I put gas in the truck, it levels out pretty nice. When I'm running on fumes, the thing leans so far I think I can reach out the window and touch the ground.
I tried leveling out things with the torsion bars (yeah, it's a 4x4), but that don't help a whole lot, and makes it handle like crap. Well, even more like crap.
I tried swapping the rear coils from one side to the other. That didn't help.
I just put an order in for some Eibach 2" drop coils, and some 3/4" coil-spacers to use if I still need to even the thing off. With the -2 coils, I'll be sitting just about on the bump stops out back. Same as the front end. I'll see what happens.
