Here's my thoughts for the hood...

Haven't found any hoods I like for my truck so thinking about making a ZL1 style hood for it. Here's a CRAPPY quick photoshop...

Thoughts? I was just going to make a one off out of my hood but if there's interest in other people wanting it I'll have RK Sport do it then we could sell it in either fiberglass or carbon fiber. Thoughts?

 

Well, DOD took a crap so this happened...



All DOD pulled, TR 224R cam went in with TSP long tubes and a custom side exhaust...





AND OF COURSE it needed new rims, tires, leveling kit, fender flares and hood (this one is a loaner from RK Sport while they make the one we designed) while it was down lol...



Thoughts? I think she's headed in the right direction...

 

Looks much better than stock. I bet it runs good with that cam too.

looking good, who did the engine work and tune?

 

Gil and I did all the engine work and Ryne (CMS) loaded the base tune. Need to get the new 4x4 module installed then I can drive it down for Ryne to finish the tune.

 

Added front bumper guard and a vinyl piece we designed for the tail gate...

Good lookin progress. I have those falken wild peaks in 285's. Great tire while they last but once they start wearing down they look like glorified highway tires. I think I'm getting close to 35k miles on mine now... I can't remember.
