Default New Truck.

New truck. Need ideas and opinions...

Two questions:
1) Should I sell the sidesteps and how much can I get for them?
2) On the third picture, right above the "Silverado" used to be another badge (If you couldn't tell)... What can I use to get rid of the leftover adhesive?

Also, just wanted to show off my new ride.

Hey nice truck! That's a great blank canvas to start with. I would definetly get rid of the side steps, not sure on how much you could get for them but check ebay for guesses. I would also debadge your whole truck and take off the molding. Just my opnion though. And everyone has their own technique for taking off the blue but I've found soaking it in WD40 works pretty well.
May the modding begin!

use 3M General Adhesive Removal- we use that at work for taking off the adhesive from side moldings and emblems- it works great. if it doesnt work- get a rubber pinstripe eraser- just be carefull not to burn the paint.

Try something like googone etc... Then you can follow that up with a clay bar and you should be good to go.
