I agree, I'd color match the mirror frames, rear bumper caps, and lower valance, but leave the chrome in there to break it up...at least that's the route that I want to go with mine I have Esky handles also...that little bit of chrome in there really gives it a classy look IMO.

rear bumper caps are white already.. for some reason the lower valance wasnt.. i agree the chrome in the handles with the step bars and wheels break it up. I am pretty sure the bowtie will go white, but i am on the bubble with the mirrors..

Fender flares?

Head Lights?

Blacked out rear lights and 3rd break light?

other then the z71 decal removal and front valance being white.. the rest i am listening to and trying to get a feeling for. Again thanks for all the options..

Why would i take the side molding off if it is color matched? Help me on this

Personally, I don't like blacked out lights, or black anything on white trucks, like Roger said, not into the storm trooper look, but tastes vary. Some guys remove the color matched mouldings just to give a smoother look, but if you park in parking lots, they do serve a good purpose. I know that the week that I removed my mouldings someone dinged my door right where they used to be. As far as mouldings go, the color matched ones do look the best, so the choice is yours on how smooth you want the sides to look, vs. taking a chance of someone dinging your doors.

As for fender flares, if you do them, I'd suggest color matching them. I think that fender flares only look good with wider tires, or else they stick out too far IMO.

As for the head lights, my favorite mod is removing the amber reflectors on the sides, there may be a write up on how to do it, and I know that some members here will provide that service.

I'm trying to come up with suggestions, but to be honest there's not a whole lot I don't like about your truck. I would lightly tint the tails and third brake light, not to the point of being entirely black, but a couple passes with black and I think they'd look really good. If you're still bored after this then you could clear the headlights (remove the amber side pieces), and I hate to say this, cause I feel like GMFS whenever someone suggests removing something that someone else bought and installed, but I think if you took the rain vents off the windows it would clean up the look of the truck.

Just my two cents though, if I had that other toy in my garage I'd leave the truck alone and just keep the money for gas!
