Thanks man The mirror install is a piece of cake...hardest part is routing the wire through the firewall for the outside temp thermistor. The old mirror unscrews and slips off, the new one slips on in it's place, then the harness is routed through the headliner (just basically have to tuck it in), and down the a-pillar to power and ground...(I think that's all the wiring if I remember correctly). I installed the thermistor on the front bumper, under the grill. It just clips on, and I have it facing forward, clipped on to the black plastic upper bumper cap. I originally had it safely behind the front bumper, but it must have been picking up engine compartment heat, as the temp was reading 90* when it was about 75* out. Now it's pretty accurate...I compare it to the reading that certain banks display, and it's usually within a degree....it's actually more accurate than the factory reading in the dash of my wife's Toyota Matrix, which is about 2 to 3* too warm.

Feel free to PM me if you need any more info...I don't remember where I bought it (was a few years ago...I had some extra paypal dough and did some searching for a website that accepted paypal), but I remember it was just under $300. I've seen it around for a cheaper price since...possibly even ebay. I'll see if I can get a chance to take a pic of where I mounted the thermistor

Looks good! Nice work on the swith panel, I have one similar on the back of my console. All they do is light up, for now anyways.

Looks good, man...I really like the stance of your truck. Makes me want to lower mine. I just put mine away for the winter today, I'm gonna miss here for the next 4 months

Well, I swapped the winter meats on today...the pics are kinda dark as I got a late start and the sun went down as I finished up, not to mention the suspension was still kinda sprung so the truck was sitting a little higher than normal. By the time I got home from my in-laws (just a mile or so up the road), the suspension settled and it looks a wee bit better. I'll try to get some better pics with daylight when I get a chance, but that probably won't be until next weekend...it's already dark out when I get out of work.

The tires are 275/70 16 Toyo Open Country AT's on the factory 16" aluminum wheel. According to Toyo's website, they're .1 inch taller than the 285/50 20's. When I put them side by side, they're about the same height (forgot to get a pic of that ) Here ya go:

Loaded up and ready to swap:

Just caught the last bit of sunlight:

Here's a pic of that thermistor location for you ap2002. One of these days I'll paint the clip black to totally hide it, although you can barely see it now, unless your kneeling down looking for it...

Wow, still looks great!!! I'd be interested in knowing how those tires act in the snow. I was thinking of getting a set for some Denali wheels I have.

Got a shot off today of the winter setup with some better lighting for the folks with darker screen settings...the truck is filthy now and the pic kinda sucks, but this is the best I could do being stuck at home with a sinus infection Not to mention, if you look closely, you can see where I need the body work from where the old mudflaps used to be. Hopefully soon...I bought some books on DIY bodywork just in case I can't find a good deal with a reputable shop.

Can't wait until spring
