I have katskinzs and they are worn out and ready for replacement in 5 years. I'm going a diffrent route this time so I'm paying attention. Are those real leather or pleather? I ask bc I'm tired of fake leather it wears out way to fast and looks crappy after a good cleaning.
Thats somewhat of a bummer to hear..... I'm about to install a full set of theirs in my GMC. The ones I have are supposed to be real leather. I did chocolate perforated suede centers with graphite outers and chocolate contrast stitching. Have obviously not yet installed them...
Seating surfaces are worn and grey black looking, supposed to be black, and seat edge is cracked and about to tear. The center console cover is also cracked where I rest my elbo, I'm just upset they didn't last very long, they did look good for a few years but went south fast...
Finally decided to go with Katzkin and I am super happy with the covers..... I was going to have a Katzkin dealer install them but they wanted $450 to just install the covers so I tackled it myself.......SO Glad i did ..... took me about 2 hours to do both front seats..... not near the job i was expecting..... takes some muscle and a couple band aids from the sharp edges of the frames ..... I ended up getting the best deal off a dealer on Ebay that orders them direct from katskin .....Sealeddeals took all my info and sent me schematic of what it would look like and colors so it was super easy to order..... Ill attach more pics once they are installed.... going to set them in the sun today to help soften them up before installing . Around how much did it run for the 2 seats???? Considering this for my single cab with cloth seats
Mine cost me $750 but the ostrich inserts was an extra $100 and the double contrast stitching was $50 so for around $600 you could get the same set just solid colors ... that included the center console top/middle/bottom material and also sent me material for the door inserts...... odd thing with any of these companies is that a reg cab is the most expensive set you can buy ..... you can get a crew cab for less than a reg cab.... just due to the mass production of the crew cabs and the reg cabs are special orders
I just went with leather cover from a company I found of Ebay.. They fit amazing and about a hour to install.. couple little wrinkles in the lower but for $525 shipped I was happy..
