He'll be okay putting the stockers back on for winter duty. I go the other way, I put on 20's for the winter, run 16's in the summer.

Looks good man. Definetly an improvement. Itll look much better with the hangers on. AWD swap and a 6.0 will make that a nasty truck if you do full bolt ons and a small cam.

Good deal. It's been a long time since I've driven in snow over a foot, so I didn't think about that solution.

the winter rims are about the same height, so it wont look bad. This is the last winter this truck will see snow unless its in and out of the garage.

I would be more concerned with functionality than look in more extreme conditions, well more extreme than Texas winter conditions.

Haha, I think any snow is more extreme that a Texas winter. Its like 70 in the winter there!

Thanks again guys, looking for some shackles right now. I lifted the front end some more and I think it looks pretty good for now. My goal was to get it around a stock SS truck or a little lower, so I'm really happy with it now.

If you guys saw the roads we have to deal with up here you would see where I'm coming from.

Yeah they suck. I drove to anchorage last night and it's a battle just trying to keep the truck out of the ruts now. Though, it's a much smoother ride now, good call on the shocks.
