If there's no other black on the truck, it'll just look mismatched and out of place. IMO a whole vehicle has to flow and work together.

+1 the should't put clear headlights on for the same reason you don't put clear tails on a white vehicle. for some reason it just looks :
the lights look good themselves, but i'm not sure how they would look on an all white vehicle.

It's been raining like a **** here, so I'll try and post up some pics tomorrow of the truck.

Dewey, I'm going to pull the truck out of the garage and take some pics and then put it back in. Just so you know these are going to be shitty pics.

Ok . . . how about this one? I appreciate your opinion so I'm just trying to see what would look best. I know it's tough to tell without seeing them on the truck.

I bet they will look great on your truck man. Better than these guys are makin it seem. Not rice IMO at all. Hell of a lot better than stockers with orange in them. Do what you want, its your truck that you gotta look at everyday.

Ok, I may have come off a bit harsh in my first post, my bad.

My point is this: Black headlights on a white truck that otherwise has no real major black "accents" (wheels, grille, fender flares, bumpers, smoked tails etc.) will just look mismatched, and like the owner is just adding things to up his "mod count".

From the pictures I've seen of your truck, you seem to the have the white theme going with the white moldings, white flares, and I think I saw some mention of colormatched handles somewhere down the road? I just think the black headlights with all the other white stuff will look out of place and poorly thought out.

I think a set of cleared stockers would look far better, but I don't know what plans you have for the truck, and it is your truck. Just offering up my opinion like you asked for.

True true. I kind of like the black, but clear won't be bad either. I just don't want the orange lens in there anymore. I have cleared the running lights but the headlights are a pain in the *** and I kind of want to just get a set and keep them for back up or if I sell the truck.

No worries dude, you didn't offend me at all. I have thick skin. I appreciate your .02 for sure! I have started kind of the white theme so far. But I think i'm going to leave the front valance cover (official name?) black and paint the lower part to match it. That two tone is annoying. I am planning on getting a push bar in the future and I have always had black in the past so I'll probably do that, and I was thinking about some Dick Cepek DC-1s with the black accent. But I really like the tahoe rims. I just don't want to do too much white on it so it makes it look like a giant cloud rolling down the street.

Here are a few shitty pics, I just pulled it up in the yard and snapped some, ATTN Dewey, I'll get some better ones soon just for you buddy!

The grille is now painted white, but I just had a few of the truck still intact. The other pics, I have the headlights out of it.

I haven't re painted the bowtie yet, what do you think. Black? white? or go back to camo (hence the name)? Here are some pics. I threw up a pic of the bowtie on my old truck, I know I will get flamed for it but it is just a little subtle accent. I work at a duck hunting outfitter remember. Keep the opinions coming! They are much appreicated. (Tahoe handles and tinted windows are in the plans)

Here the grill is not painted

Here the grille is painted, but the headlights are out (obviously)

Here is the bowtie on my old truck, it's one of the only ones I could find. Just a thought

If you go with a black bowtie and the black wheels, you might be able to pull off the black headlights pretty well actually. I rescind my previous statements.
