why would they chop a suburban instead of just choppin a tahoe?

Because the suburban midsection is straight and isnt affected by the rear wheelwell section.

btw: one issue of "truck'n" magazine had a cover truck that was a tahoe chopped to a Two-door. It was orange and some other color, anyone seen this issue?
i wish they would make them to. im down to buy one. nutted on some wheels. i loved the old body styles tahoes.

i wonder what the price tag is on one though. probably around 30k after the conversion to us dollars i would think.

If it comes that way from the factory, it wouldnt really be a conversion and there wouldnt be a reason for the price to be any more really.

The crew-cab S-10 was in Brazil....The Chevy "toy box" had a customized one in it's fleet a few years ago. If I remember correctly, it was slammed and was made into a duallie.

This one really got beat with the ugly stick....
