Default New carpet

I finally got tired of the W/T vinyl floor (couldn't ever get it to stay clean) and upgraded to GM carpet. It was the easiest carpet install I have ever done, took an hour start to finish and I cleaned all the plastics and the floor underneath really well.

Before:

After:

I washed it too, might as well show it off. It's getting lowered as soon as I wrap up upgrading the brakes on my Z28, I'll see how that turns out.

Looks great. I have a cheap one in mine right now, but have a factory GM one in the box that I will be installing soon.

I got some from the Chevy stealership I used to work at, MUCH easier than the ACC I did in my Impala and the cheap **** I put in my Camaro. It wasn't that much more than other brands either, no trimming/fitting/anything, I just sat it in the sun while I took out the seats and trim panels.

$158.78 after tax for the carpet with my employee discount (probably $175 or so without if I had to guess), plus $5.39 for a 6 pack of Miller Lite.

There were cheaper alternatives, but I knew this would match perfect and I've had some serious pains in my *** from carpet installations (trimming/small hump vs. large hump trans tunnels/color fading/color matching) over the years. This honestly couldn't have been easier, I could have bought a 12 pack and still made my way through it.

cool, im really glad you decided to get the GM carpet. When I did mine, I too was amazed at how easy of an install it was Your interior is coming together really well, you truck is one of my favorites, I think it's because I see a lot of my truck in yours. How much of a drop are you going with and what's next after it?

I'm going with a 1.5/3" drop with 265/50R20s, pretty mild I know... I still use this thing as a truck. Then I have to decide if I want to put all the aftermarket stuff I've been saving up on this truck or my Silverado SS... that'll be a dilemma thread for a later date, right now I gotta finish 2 Camaros and a firearm...
