Am I going to need to get some longer bolts for my nerf bars after installing a 3" body lift? I know that the bars came with bolts to replace some of the factory body mount bolts... but now that I'm adding another 3"s of lift, am I going to have to buy new bolts to get the bars back on? Or are they not affected by the lift? The kit is being installed on April 5th, so if I need some, I'd like to get them before hand. Thanks

 

I did not have to get longer bolts when i did the body lift on my sub. the nerf bars do not go up with the cab though, so you have a 3" gap between the body and the bars

 

The bars are attached to the frame, so it stays in the same location. THe bolts supplied with the kit will work fine with the bars. I didn't like the 3" gap between the bars and my body, so I cut down the bar fittings about 2"s and re-drilled the mount holes. This raised the bars 2" and helped to hide the extra frame that showed from under the truck.
