need some help with power windows please
#1
i converted my 2000 silverado from manual to factory power windows two years ago. but for some reason ive already gone through two sets of regulators/motors for these things. they keep burning out (they slow down and then quit working). the dealship has taken a look at it and said that they see nothing wrong. everything was wired up correctly by an automotive electrician so im just not sure what in the world is the problem. any ideas?

Try to keep you window tracks lubed up with a silicon spray and see if that helps. The less friction in the tracks may prolong the life of your motors. I have to lube mine every so often or they will get really slow going up.
