need rims.. have questions..
i just got a tahoe and gotta get some rims. i was thinking about just getting 20s so i could have plenty of tire to keep a good ride. i was wondering what size tires should i run? i like em about as wide as possible without scrubbing anything. also what is the correct backspacing?? i got a 2000 (new style) 6 lug LT. thanks!!

Here's my '02 ECSB on 20's with 275/45/20. Picked tires and rims from place in Calif, **non-sponsor link removed**, balanced and shipped to the house.

Here's my Tahoe... 22's though. 305-40-22. They don't ride that bad... a little harder than stock but definitely livable. I make frequent long trips, and it doesn't bother me at all. They are American Eagle 109. Got them off Ebay.

Tires are 275/45/20, wheel is 20x9. I have Lowering shackles, and hangers on the back, and i cut the coils about 1" up front.
Here's another shot, its under a little load, when driving its relatively "level." They would barely tuck under the fender, im not to savvy on wheel specs, but the website said my wheel's offset is :Mid. Good Luck!

Wheels are by Joe Gibbs Performance and tires are 285/50-20 Toyo Proxes. JGP no longer sells the wheels, but I seem them on ebay pretty often for around $700 for 4. I like that they're GM approved, but they're fairly heavy compared to some wheels like Centerline Stingrays which are considerably lighter.

I am in the process of deciding on wheels for my Tahoe as well. I will probablly go with a 275/55/20, 285/55/20 or 285/60/18 depending on what wheels I decide on. I am 4wd though and do not plan on droping the truck any, if anything raising the front slightly with the torsion bars.
