Autometer makes that steering mounted gauge pod. I have one. I can get the part # if your interested.

that overhead console is a good spot for gauges, thats where i have the switches and digital gauge for the bags in my 2000. it looks

goto http://www.neufamily.org/gauge%20pics for more pics, i stuck one gauge in my drivers side vent but i didn't like that too well, i also put a pair up in that overhead counsel and they are way to close to your head to look at, if you were to give them an angle toward your eyes they might work but then they might not fit either.

i would like to figure and a nice place for gauges too, fuel presure/boost/nitrous presure

I think up to 3 2 1/16" guages could be fit next to the tach if you made a little plate to mount them on. The message center would get covered up so remember to check your fluids and change your oil. :p

Here is a ROUGH idea of what it would look like.

Sweet...I finally can post a picture. Anyways, the picture I think it of another model, but you can get an idea of what it will look like. The one for the chevy's is actually opposite of the picture, it puts the gauge just to the right of the hazard button, pretty much dead center on the column. Hope it helps.
