Did you just cut out the other sockets or what what did you use to cover the bare wires once you connected them together?

Since the denali's use two 9005's (and I guess mine didn't come with adapters) - and the low beam plug is for a 9006, I just took a dremel and shaved down the little notch inside the silverstar bulb (9005) and it plugs into the stock 9006 connector.

I have question. I have a 2001 GMC Sierra C3 and I wanted to replace my low beam lights with brighter bulbs I looked it up and the manual said it was 9005 for high beam and 9006 for low beam so I ordered 9006 Sylvania silver star ultra bulbs. When I went to install them they were to big for the hole and the plug didn't match. When I looked at the bulbs that were in it they were marked 9005HB and 9005LB. I'm confused can anyone tell me what the correct bulb would be in this case?

I'm sorry I didn't see the above post before I sent mine. I assume I can use the Silver Star 9005 for my low beam also?
