Default Need help with a couple of things

I'm rigging up an under dash accent light set (CCFL's) and need to know if I can loop them into the wiring so that they come on instead of the regular courtesy lights. Just wondering.

Also, I need to wire up a trailer hitch, can anyone pass along a link or way they did theirs?

brown - Tail Light
yellow - Left Turn
dark green - Right Turn
light green - Back Up
and there should be a white wire from the connector that you take to the frame

what type of trailer wiring kit is it?
is it for a 5 prong
7 prong?
the one I have is a Hoppy.
very nice installation kit. keeps it clean. lift a cover and there is your connection, no wires dangling from the back. cost about $30.
have them on my Silverado, an Yukon

the wire to use is bundled up on top of the spare tire. you will need to drop it to find this bundle.
undo the bundle to expose the wires for connection.
very easy

It's just a flat 4 pin one. Thanks for the advice. Will have it up and going in no time. BTW, this is just a temp thing for spring break so I can tow my boat. I plan on a hidden hitch setup later down the line.
