Default Need Advice on Painting something

Ever since I got new tires I've been bottoming out on stuff and bumping into things because I'm not used to the new lower ride height. The other day in a parking lot I ripped the front valence off the truck while backing out of a parking space. I'm getting it repainted but thought I'd ask...

Should I paint the lower valence flat black to match the stripe and grill?

If you did paint one black, and wound up not liking it, at least it would be easy to sell...

It does look good body color though.
