i bought the CAI off of ebay, the guy wanted $335 for and i made a best offer of $310 shipped. im willing to bet he'll take less than that though. i might take it to the track this weekend.

my ccsb 07 nbs silverado, ran a 16.4 stock, out at temple academy, 3.42 gears. 5.3, g80, drop in filter, and a flowmaster, thats all thats done to it right now.

waiting on a tune...

Question

hey BAD INTENTIONS, how did you get the badgeing off your new truck? i did it on my 01 sierra but i'm kinda scared to **** up my new ride. was waiting until someone did it on a newer truck so i could ask them. thanks for the info man.

the badges i had removed by the dealership and they did a great job as for the console i installed that myself i wish they came like that...

Thats what I thought, just double checking. The US and Canada (for some reason) have some options you can/can't get depending where you are. The 40/20/40 bench seat makes me chuckle, two bucket seats with a console you can sit on basically. Very comfy. I was debatiing getting the long console like you have...

hey the badges you can take off just with a credit card and pull them off just becarefull to not pull them hard or scrub them off just gently and slowly .. then just remove the ecxess glue or doulbe sided tape with a rag wet with gas and wipe them off and your set ...

yeah the console is great and it looks nice too i had always wanted to do this to my trucks... but this is the 1st time i got a chance to...
