Looks great man, I'm a fan of the full length console. I did the same swap, except I got a 99-02 console set up which was a direct bolt in to my 99, no cutting necessary (pics on my cardomain site, link in siggy)

Some day, I'd love to put a floor shifter in there...donations welcome

there is no reason to cut the dash...you just buy a lower dash piece that is made for the long console trucks...save you from having a dash that looks like that......heres mine...

yeah, but I'm not buying extra pieces and mine actually looks great, I took the pictures that looked the worst to post so people can see the cut. The shadow accentuate the slight imperfections. A little more work with the dremel and it would be absolutely perfect.

either one of the ways looks good. i have been comtemplating doing that swap as well. What kind of prices is everyone getting there consoles from?

Thanks for the pics! I think that your cut doesn't look bad at all. I heard that the glove box piece is like $130!! At least if you didn't like it, you could alsways get that piece later.
