Hmm, how much did they run you per tire? I have 285/60/18s on my rims and they spin like crazy, I might have to look into the 404s. I have heard about Nittos having better traction from a few people.

Yeah, I forgot about the VHOs. Like you said though, I don't think they are doing it on the reg cabs.

mcgaughys make a 1" front spring and a 1-2 " adjustable shackle, whatever that means,
http://www.mcgaughys.com/truck_new.html

Eibach has a 1.5" front spring and rear shackle kit,
there is lots of 2" front spring or spindle kits.
i might try the eibach kit on my xcab

yea i saw those eibach ones and couldn't figure out for the life of me if they come in 1.5 inch drops for scsb trucks or only for ecsb trucks. i guess they need to be different cause of the weight diff. i like that they are progressive though, very nice.

i'm going to give that mcguaghy's website a try now...

edited: ok just checked out some prices and it looks like i can get a 1-2 drop kit, thats just coils and shackles, for under 150! thats cheap for such a good name. are their springs progressive? any good?

thanks

I have a 2" rear drop with shackles and another 1/2"-1" from the rear spring clamps and my truck sits pretty level. It is an extended cab but I love the stance on it.

Just go with Belltech 2 inch rear drop shackles. Doesn't affect ride. Are about $50 and easy to install. Will level out truck perfectly.
