Default Murdered my truck....Pic

My paint was failing, clear coat flaking and some deep scratches to the metal in some places so........


Got bored yesterday. Ive been wanting to do it for a while so I went for it.

now you need to tint your headlights, corner lights, paint your mirror caps and wheels and turn those white letters in. id remove the molding too. looks good though, much better than the wornout blue

Yeah I def dont wanna tint my fronts cause I did it before and i couldnt see ****. But the caps and wheels are egtting it probably today. The moldings will likely stay for now because the tape"glue" is such a bitch to remove.

I may fill the letters in yellow paint and do it nascar truck series style.. YEEEE HAWWWWWW

use a heat gun, dental floss and an eraser wheel (from an autobody shop or paint supply store) and it will look like the molding was never there

+1 to this guy.

BaSick5.0, I used to be the same way about keeping my moldings. You will NEVER regret getting rid of the moldings, even though they are a pain to take off. But hey, we are used to going to extra mile with our trucks!

Just remember not to park next to idiots in crappy cars at Walmart...then you will wish you still had those moldings...

it took me all of about 2 hours to remove my molding that way

a 2500hd hood would look killer on your truck with the flat black

Ill be getting an HD hood as soon as I get the motor situated. I cant spend extra on the looks right now, Doesnt make good since.
