no swirls, yes a mirror finish, I was nervous to use it, but it works very nicely.

I tried to use one yesterday and it did not work as i had expected. When I would get in the smaller areas and crevices it was like the thing would "hook up" and would run off on me. Was I not using enough polish? It seems like you would have to saturate the thing to get it to not walk.
