I left mine out in the sun, with the molding on one side directly facing the sun. It was around 90 degrees out that day and the molding pulled off pretty easily. I peeled the adhesive tape off with my finger nail, it sucked, but not too bad really.
I then used goof-off to get all the residue from the tape off followed by a wash with some strong detergent, and a buffing/waxing.
Really hot water works to pull off moldings too if you can't wait for the sun to do its job, be care full with a heat gun if you do use one.
Have fun.

I did the same thing, left it to sit in the sun and then went out to do it. The molding was easier than the badges IMO.

try some fishing line for the stubborn areas, youll be suprised at the amount of crud behind these moldings.

Moldings will peel off easily, most of mine weren't even adhered. Then washed it, I used CitrusSolve, 3M Hand Glaze and polish.
The Silverado logo on the tail was a MF'r even using a heat gun so be patient with it. Then the same procedure...
