Is there a kit to make the wiring from a 03+ mirror fit on a 99-02 truck?

I have an 01 GMC and my folks have an 04 Avalanche. We want to trade but its my understanding that the wiring is different and the plug for the 04 is down within the door skin, and not up by the mirror mount like on my 01..?

 

Dont know if there's a kit, but yes the wiring is completely different the plug for 03+ are connected with the window buttons. Yes you have to take the door skin off for you to connect them.

I swaped my stock 03 mirrors for some stock Z71 Burban's with the turn signal's and the light sensitive driver side diming and they also have the puddle light underneath. They are badass and also have the glossy black mirror caps. You can barely see the signal on my sig pic.
