Default Mirror and other exterior plastic painting

I plan on painting my mirrors, handles, and possibly bumper caps. Ive looked around and havent found a 'How To' on this. I would like to know what grit to start with and what the best type of primer and promoter to use is. Any info is appreciated. I have an 04 RCSB Silvy if that helps at all.

There is a how to either on here or gmfs, when I get a little more free time I'll search for it unless someone post it up

And to make things easier, you can actually purchase painted handles, and a smooth 06 cap that you and have painted without all the sanding. Mirrors though, get to it lol. If you tear the mirrors down, there is a how to on that on gmfs as well.
