Default Method MR306's on lowered RCSB Silverado

The wheels I'm looking to get are a set of Method 306's in either a 17x8.5 0 offset/4.75 backspacing or 18x9 +18 offset/5.75 backspacing.... Not sure what drop my truck has but it is pretty much identical to this.

Want to run a fat tire that will hopefully tuck in the fender well. Will they work?

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's what these are based for but I think they'd look good on a lowered regular cab. I want to run a good street/strip tire with these and the tire tuck about an inch or less.

They will not tuck, especially if you plan to put a big tire on it. General rule is 3" of front space to tuck on a NBS with proper tire size. 9" wheel with 5.75" bs will stick out about 1/4".

I appreciate the info. So running a 17x8.5 with 0 offset and 4.75 backspacing would be more ideal in my application.

No, they will stick out even farther. 8.5-4.75=3.75 so they would stick out about 3/4".

So what would be the appropriate backspacing, offset, width on a 17 or 18in wheel?

Would this wheel work? Specs are as followed: 18x9, +25 offset, 5.98 backspacing
