Me and the truck
#1
Late at night me and my cuz were bored and we took some pics.
I am a damn lucky 16 year old to be driving this thing, my dad has given half the payment to me so now we can call it mine due to the fact ill have to pay him back later on, he has been on this forum a while but now its all me for he dosnt have no more time. So yup im a 16 year old that drives a silverado i just drive him to places he wants to go he says hes been driving for 33 years and hes tired of it so he said why dont i have fun while it lasts. (though when i do race very hard just some high rev launches i do it in a straight away and no trafic.)

I also take care of this truck like its my baby, the engine compartment looks like its brand new, we do have some scratches from mom and sis opening the doors on tree branches, and to tell you the truth even on the cold 30-40* days its hand washed and dryed by me. Also one thing i learned is use cruise control on 30+ speed limits it helps gas mileage i got 203 miles with half a tank last week

i think you need to take some daytime pics dude, cant really see anything. your still on your permit? i used to have a wrangler for bout 2 whole months that i bought myself and then totalled it, ON my permit, this thing was sick to, but the truck itself for bout 3000 or something cant member exactly then dumped bout 5000 into motor, tires, wheels, lift couple other things, i was so pissed. after that my dad helped me get an S10, and from the day it was in my dads name till the day it changed into mine i took such good care of it, once we transfered it into my name all bets were off haha. thats good though that your gettin off to a good start being that young good luck with the truck... get some day time pics

You are pretty lucky to have a dad that will help you on the payments for a late model Silverado. I'm glad you also take care of your vehicle. Most people your age have no clue about auto care. I considered myself lucky too when I was 16. I had a 1978 Z28 that my aunt gave me!!! All I had to worry about was insurance and registration, LOL. It took me about a year and some good money to get it in decent condition however. I still have the car today and I will probably never sell it. Too much sentimental value.

This truck is my baby, shoot i know that putting 89 octane gas dosnt help but i know the truck is gettin the best that i can get. I also got my first mod that i did it SPRING CLAMPS the truck feels tight around corners and feels really firm in to addition of the the z85 and z82 package that it has. Lets just say if i can i plan on keeping it untill well until it rots out(could that happen?) tranny goes at 150k miles get a new rebuilt one engine needs a rebuild? get one with better parts lets just say this is one of those cars you just get atached to.
Theres a side pic of it you can see the windex for my chrome!!
Later on i would like to turn the torsion keys a bit up to level it out.
Then later on add hd torsion bars and new shocks with a 3" block on the back and some traction bars to keep the wheel hop down form the lift block.
