yeah they sit pretty low from factory. The front might be a hair lower then 2 inches though.

Thanks for the comments.

Trever1t- i took it out for a ride with the shocks set at 3/12. It rides so nice up front. Although i think i need to take it to 4-5/12 to stiffen it up a little more.

Its pretty funny to hit a dip where the front of the truck glides over it and the rear feels like you ran over a dog.

well, i havent had time to put my bumpstops back on and grind them to fit so i have been babying the truck. Since as it sits now i'd be bottoming out on the frame.

Anyhow, i did come to an intersection and caught a yellow light doing 30-35(yellow means speed up right?) and the truck handled the corner like it was on rails. And thats without the rear shocks.

Not only that, but my tires are balding...making that corner that much more impressive to me.

I actually found a shop that'd do it. Smog legal and all. However i'd like to go Turbo or nitrous. Once i find time(whenever that may be) i'm gonna drive down to the shop that'd do the V8 swap and discuss some slightly less extreme alternatives.

I like the unique sound from these 5 cylinder engines.

Are you guys able to just bolt the QA1's right in? I'm curious whether I can bolt them right in on my S10.

Not really. The suspension on our trucks is different. For bolting them on you have to grind a little off the top of the lower mount and then grind 1/2 an inch off the side of the bumpstop and bumpstop mount.
