Default LINE-Xed bumpers...

Dropped in the Harley Davidson style headlights, threw on the black "Ford" emblem overlays, and got my LINE-Xed bumpers and spray-in bedliner done. I know the bumpers might not be for everybody but it was a cheap solution to get rid of the chrome until I can source the paint-to-match STX/FX4 bumpers down the road. All the LINE-X on the truck has their kevlar additive which adds a little gloss to it...but the real benefit is the UV blockers to keep it from fading for the life of the vehicle, so it'll look as good 10 years down the road as it does now. I should have the slightly tinted Harley Davidson tail lights and completely blacked out third brake light coming in later this week which will finish off the rear for now, and I still have to decide what I want to do about the front grille and grille surround (thinking paint-to-match H-bar grille and surround and a Westin bull bar with a few PIAA fogs...and maybe some Bushwacker pocket style fender flares) and she'll be done appearance wise for a while.

1 (first HDR attempt ever, used Photomatix)

2 (second HDR attempt ever going for a more mild look)

Im not a big fan of ford anything...but your truck looks pretty good. I really like the bumper's Line-X'ed, that looks good I think!

interesting for sure! I like the Line-x'd bumpers too for hat tough as nails look. They didn't have the added coating when mine was done but people still remark (3 yrs later) how cool my bed looks.

The Line-X gives it a nice industrial look; makes it look tougher. I agree that the colormatched bumpers would look cleaner for the look you're going for like you said but I think this is a nice alternative. Looks good man.

I'm trying to decide between something like that or keeping the stock chrome bumpers.

I need to get my bedliner touched up and the rails sprayed to cover lots of nicks and scratches.

Not a fan of ford, but that trucks looks good. I have seen may jeeps with the Line X'ed something but not on a truck.

Came out awsome. Awsome photo's
