Default Lightweight 18's

Who makes some of the lighter weight 18's. Thinking of going with a hotchkis drop and going down to some lighter weight 18's and getting rid of the 20's. Does anyone know how much boyd timeless 6 in an 18x8 weight and would it be better to go with 18x8 or 9.5.

probably the lightest wheels you are going to find are the centerline rotary forger aluminum wheels. I think that they have a couple of 20's that only weigh around 24 lbs each.

I talked to the guys at Boyd Coddington because I'm looking at doing exactly what you are and the same wheel at that. I was told that the Timeless 6's weigh between 21-25lbs. I'm most likely going to run an 18X8 with some 255/55/18 Toyo rubber. That would put me just under 60lbs per wheel/tire combo.

I didn't know the boyd's would be that light. That will probably be the setup I will go with then,Hotchkis drop, boyd timeless 6 18x8,and a 285/50/18 by either yokahama or nitto. thanks guys.

Seems were in the same boat. Did some calling around.
good ol fashioned centerline billets 18x9.5- 24lbs
billet specialties billets- 28lbs
Boyds- under 30, guy couldn't be specific.
intro- I'm curious on these
No matter what rim you use the average weight of a 295/45 18 and 305/45 18 tire are 30-34 lbs
The billet centerlines are the lightest they make.

I will probably get the drop before I get the wheels. Will probably run the 20's for a little while longer.
