Pretty close to stock

Now (needs a cleaning)

Going for a subtle look

Next up is a steering wheel with controls and maybe a custom stitched grab handle

Just swapped my cluster bulbs for blue leds and I'm pretty stoked so I thought I'd drag up this old thread.

Honestly, if I ever do this again I'd just get regular blue incandescent 194s cause the shipping on these 6 bulb leds was atrocious! Oh well, it looks neat. The orange needles look kinda sick though. I've got a few extra clusters where I've cleared and blue'd the needles so I'll be swapping them in soon. The needle tips will have to be painted white so I can see them in the day though. The cluster is a Yankee HD unit (reads in miles, not kilometers) with a trans temp gauge. I've also swapped in an overhead console. My old Pioneer Premier deck has a Sirius interface and a USB cable coming from the back, snaking to the glove box, and plugged into my 160 gig ipod Classic, which fits nicely in that little area on the left side. My Valentine 1 is old, but I swear to God, I've picked up cops from 10 miles up the highway! It's mounted to the mirror with a Blendmount, which is nice but pricey. I'll try to make my own if I ever need another. I also wanna hardwire the V1 in, cause that black cable pisses me off. I've got a new carpet kit coming in the mail, and a SD console waiting to be painted so it can hide my nitrous bottle. It'll also hold a Cobra Bluetooth ready cb radio, since they banned cell use while driving here in Saskatchewan. I use the cb a lot on the farm. I also wanna build a laptop mount into my console. Wilde Racing's cockpit makes me Yep, wrote a book on a crappy pic, but this thread needs to come back.
