What's being used for a mild 2/4 drop on 03-06 CC's with the welded front leaf hanger? I'm not looking for anything crazy, just a sporty drop and maybe some factory 20's on my '05 Sierra CCSB. Thanks.

I did coil springs and flip kit with lift hangar. Check my "pos truck" thread, pics there. Nothing has to be done with the front, I didn't even take it off near the gas tank, just persuaded the axle to flip for me. The pass. we took off, cut off wheel and air tools with an "x" then air chisel and viola! People made such a big deal about the rivets on the hangars, I have solid advice for you, GET THE RIGHT TOOL, THE FIRST TIME, AND TO THE JOB RIGHT...it took maybe 15 minutes to do both sides.

That being said, I am not sure I would do lift hangars again. I can only go 5" total (which I am actually fine with), but you can not use drop shackles with them later on if you decide to go lower. You could do a block. I heard the lift shackles do not fit well so you have to grind some of the OE hangar down for it to fit, which is why I just did lift hangar. Also, lift shackles won't give you a full 2", more like 1.5" You will need to notch, I don't bottom out a lot, but I still do, so I will be notching and going 3/5 total with my Belltech Pro Coils and a camber kit, if that sucks I will ditch the coils for new spindles and coils for a 3" up front.

You could also do drop leafs, but the majority says NO!

I dunno if I'd call it slammed but it sits low.

Single adjustable coilovers in front and back, back is adjustable 4 link with Fays 2 Watts linkage.
