LED Turn Signals
#1
I'm looking at getting HIDs and I want my turn signals to match but I'm not sure how to go about doing that. Right now I have clear corners with amber bulbs but I'd rather have the whole the front end match. Do white LEDs match HIDs or it something else that everyone is doing? I was thinking 6000K if it makes a difference. Can some of you guys throw up some pictures of matching HIDs and turns for me and also the temp. of the HIDs, the color of the LEDs and where you got them? Thanks in advance.

Not really gonna be able to match HIDs with a halogen. It's hard to match a high beam halogen to a low beam HID, I'm sure matching the signal/marker lights to HID will be very hard. Just leave the amber signal/marker bulbs in place IMO
Don't have any pics, but most are running 6000k hids. It will be a very bright white, just a small hint of blue. 4300k will give you the most visible light, but have a hint of yellow to it. I have seen a bunch of places now have a 5000k which gives a nice white light, and great visibility so it is a great comprimise.

There is a truck running around here that, I think, was able to match them somehow. I've only seen it moving but the colors look really close. I know the halogens wont be as bright but I'm wondering if there is a way to fill the clear corner lenses with a color that matches the HIDs? Thats why I was thinking the white LEDs. A good clean bright white to match the clean HIDs. But I'm not sure if it will work like that. Maybe those "hyper white" LEDs?
