Tone,

Just had a few p.m.'s w/ y2k and he says quite a few over @ gmfullsize have had this problem (5-6). They are now offering a reinforcement piece for the panhard bar connection to the frame and recommend welding around it.

Figured this might be useful to you seeing as you'll be cutting some 9 to low 10 second passes more than likely.

I'm gonna call KP and see if I can get that piece. Don't need a cracked frame.

Alright. I just called. The new panhard bar has 4 mounts instead of the original 2. Put the washers on the outside of the frame. Said this has eliminated the majority of the problems.

I might go ahead and weld it on there just incase.

Said they don't make that reinforcement piece though.

I hvae a question. Im intersted in doin a two tone paint scheme on my truck, maybe without the graphic though. If you dont mind me asking what does something like that normally cost? You could PM me if you dont wanna make it public.

Houston is about 3 hours from me, I will get in touch with you about that. The paint cost me $4500 but that was with 2 complete colot changes and the graphics.
