he said he needs it for the weather... some ppl cant afford 2 vehicles and thats his way of doing what he can afford and getting a vehicle thats more sensible to him. obviously he wants his truck just in 4wd... im not seeing why thats so hard to understand

So, you basically want to make that Z71 look just like your Regency RST? I'm sorry but I don't see the point in doing that. If you want something that has 4WD, get a beater Subaru or something, lol. When you have nice days, drive the truck instead. I dunno....I just don't understand the concept of lowering a 4WD truck. Yeah, they are good for straight line traction and acceleration but you really have to be making some serious power to take advantage of a lowered 4WD truck (and the extra weight that goes with it).
Hmm. I kind of like my 4wd..So do a few other of the FASTEST trucks on the forum
But I lament, a lifted 2wd is silly
Seriously though, lowering a 4wd makes total sense for me. I have full use of the 4wd for my annual romp to snow country and at the track of course. Nothing like blowing some shmo off the line wthout having to swap tires too.
Lowered my handling is improved like 10 fold. My truck hangs the mountain roads like it thinks its a porsche. Too each his own.

I like lowered 4x4's
Us northeastern fellas that can't afford 2 rides gotta do what we gotta do. Just make sure you have a set of factory wheels with some AT's that are the same height as your 20's for winter. That way your nice wheels stay shiny and un-oxidized
