So its really a "2/2" drop from stock 2wd height. If you did shackles in the back as well, it would be a true 2/4". As of right now, you shouldnt need a c-notch. BUT, if you go 2" lower, you WILL want one.

My last truck was a 2wd with 2/4 drop. The frame hit the axle everytime I hit a good bump. On this truck its a 4x4 with purple keys and 3" LCAs in front, and removal of blocks and shackles and hangers, for a 3/4" drop from stock 2wd height. (After you do purple keys and removal of blocks you are at stock height.) This truck also badly needed a C-notch, it hit as well.

I had people on FSC.com and GMfullsize tell me that they went 2/4 and never hit, but I call BS. Maybe in Texas we have way bigger bumps lol. On both trucks, after the 2/4, they was about MAYBE 1 1/2" between the frame and axle.

I'm just letting you know your options. I do like the way your truck sits now, but I also like the level look.

I could remove the overloads and lose another 5/8" or 1" but my truck rides perfectly level down the road.

Also, there are many different C-notch kits available, or you could cut your frame and make your own. I bought Belltechs wrap around kit, which was like $350 bucks but its one of the strongest.

Just for your info of course
