Default If you want it right...you call Grant Fabrication

After using urethane pans and every steel pan on the market I finally broke down years ago and bought a pan from Grant Fabrication. I've used nothing else since. They just released them for 4th Gen Rams and Bob sent me an email about it so I grabbed one. This is what showed up today.
They're pricey...but you get what you pay for sometimes.
There is no comparison to that hideous Street Scene thing that's on the market for these trucks.

1 piece weld on end caps....hand formed by people that still know how to work with raw steel.

Compound curve to match the tailgate....this is the only way to go.

As soon as the truck get's through with the shop tour it's on I'm gonna get to welding.

Spent the morning welding...got it all ground down and dropped off for paint tonight.
After losing the spare tire and bumper it raised the rear over an inch....gonna have to lower it again to fix it. lol

Fit up and tacked in:

Ground down and off to paint:
The weird looking spots are just the sun hitting the shiny metal.

Do they sell this for a 2008 Sierra? And how much if you don't mind me asking?

I'm sure they make them...no idea on price. Mine was about 450 shipped.
They're expensive but it's the only steel pan that has a curve across the bottom to match the tailgate.
