I like the black personally, everything seems to flow together better

 

black... IMO grilles should disapear, not stand out

That's my SS, it's just trim black, and some left over rattle can stuff on the bowtie. As for the lower grille, even though the tow hooks are there, they shouldn't be used.

 

i say paint the mirrors red and leave the grilles silver especially if you have silver wheels..i would

 

These are rough, but I thought they might help a little. I did the ducts in red and black and left the grille inserts and the bow tie alone.

 

I agree that grills should disappear but looking at the two trucks i prefere the silver grill. At least on a red truck.

Edit: I did the silver with red ducts... so here's the black with red ducts. I think I got the bases covered. And by the way, it was very tempting to throw pink on there just for kicks and grins. Glad to help. Remember it's your truck, you're the one that lives with it. Good luck, and either way you slice it... you've still got a nice truck.
