Damn creed i am a prety obzervant person but never realized that you had a hd hood.
slow now that i see that hood on creeds truck i think that is the one. it has changed my mind about what hood to get.
heck get a cowl induction hd hood and be one of a kind.

can you put the entire HD grille shell on a half ton truck also? if so that would be pretty cool with a billet grille. i like that hood, it give the old school look even more than the stock one.how do i go about getting a Stock HD hood?

man, i spent a night in jail when i was in high school...i don't want to go back. j/k....i guess i could just go to a dealership and get a price on just the hood with factory white paint. i think i'm gonna use the money saved from the other hood and get in on the katzkin interior GP on FSC.COM

Scared of the pokey?
I dug up an old thread, HD hood on a Z71.
Supposedly, the part number is 15745931, but better double check it with a parts guy. I'm sure you would have to have someone paint it, so that would cost a few bills.
Here's another option, http://car-part.com/index.htm
Looks like you can get one off a salvaged truck for $250-350, and they are already painted. Call around the DFW yards, it shouldn't be too hard to find one.

i have a hook up at Moritz kinda i guess so i might ask him what he can do first, then i'll start calling around. painting it will be no prob since my dad's best friend is a paint/body guy(he did my tailgate) will the HD grille and all fit on a half ton truck also? i might get one of the z71 tahoe all white grilles and go with a monochromatic look.

That should be the right part #.
I believe Tbryne put a The whole HD front end on his 14 sec 3/4 ton burb'.
