Default I can't get it off!

I've been debadging my tailgate for the last 2 days (yeah, frikkin' 2 days) and I can't get that black thick glue crap off. All of the "Chevrolet" glue is gone, but about 4"-5" of the "Silverado" glue won't budge. I've tried Goo Gone, a hair dryer, windex, gasoline, and a lot of scrubbing. Anyone have any ideas? And my pressure washer is being ghey so it's out of the question..

Sounds funny but try sticking toilet paper to it and sprying with wd-40 TP sookes it up and alows it to make it gooey so it comes off easier ...worked for me. Good luck.

Ether works pretty good. I use it on alot of jetskis I sell when I rip the warning stickers off. Worked well on my truck, my brothers truck and my friends. Never left a mark or did any harm to the paint. The 3M orange juice **** has never worked when I tried it.

Try lighter fluid too. Works 10x better than any of the Goo-gone type stuff.

Spray some WD-40 on the glue. It softens the glue and makes it really easy to peel off. Worked for me!

I'm still looking around the house for some WD-40, but I did try Ether with toilet paper and that didn't work. Thanks for the help though, maybe I'll get it by the end of the day.

I used PVC pipe cleaner... the stuff you put on PVC pipe before you glue it together. Also used WD 40, lighter fluid etc. It took a lot of work to get it off.

I used my thumb to get the leftover tape off, then 3M adhesive remover to get the glue off. Make sure you wash and wax it since the 3M removes the wax too.
