how to take molding off ?????

Default how to take molding off ?????

guys i need to know the easiest way to pull the molding off my truck.....

I set my truck in the sun and let her heat up a little and pulle dit right off.

then i took my thumb and rolled off the sticky double sided tape.

then i used a buffer to buff the paint so you cant tell there was ever molding on there.

veru nice mod. i love it.

plus its free

did mine exactly the way larry said... be prepared for some blisters lol, its well worth it though

The hotter the sun the easier. I used one of the wifes teflon spatulas to help get under the molding......Sshh! she still doesn't know









NOTE: take care NOT to break the spatula

k well the spatula idea didn't work exactly, unless you call breaking the spatula working.....lol

time to try the heat gun!
