How low can I go?
#1
03 rcsb chevy. I just picked up a set of 17s for a deal I could not pass up.
The fronts are 17x8 with a +18 offset which is about 5" backspacing. I am looking at one of these tires click . They are right at 28" tall. Should I look at something different for the front?
The back are 17x10 with a +31 offset which is about 6 1/4 backspacing. I am looking at these in the 325/45/17 . So how low can I go?

Nice tire size choices!! I'm not 100% sure about ideal backspacing for different tire sizes on our trucks but I'll at least tell you what I think. You should be OK in front but I'm not sure about the rear. I think those tires will rub the leaf springs. Also, I would not go any lower than a 2/4 drop. If you don't mind me asking, what kind of 17's did you get?

Thanks for the info. I did not get to finish the post my wife was rushing me out the door. I was planning on a 3/4 or 4/6 so I guess it will be 3/4. I mounted the wheels on one side of the truck and they look pretty even. The 17x10 looks like it is just inside so it does look like the tire would be flush or stick out a little. I don't really want it sticking out, but I just kinda jumped on this deal with out thinking about it.
