i was always told that the part that made it illegal is because it does not have a reflector(red). so alot of people here when i was in h.s. put a reflector on them aslo along with the correct color bulbs.

DONT GET ALTEZZAS, DONT GET EUROS, DONT GET CLEARS. stock look the cleanest. ive seen so many trucks ruined from tailights

those are the same tails im running with red led bulbs. havent had problems with the police about it.

Yeah, my friend has a maroon Ranger with clear tails and here in TX you need a reflector to be legal. He just put a piece of that red reflector tape right below his tails and he hasn't been stopped for them so far. They should be legal this way and you couldn't get a ticket for it, but you might get stopped until all the cops know you.
