Default How hard is it to paint?

i have the paint and i think i can get a gun. but how hard is it to paint the bumper cap and lower air dam of the truck i was think about doing the steps of the side of the bed and the bed caps too. but i dont know how to take the bed caps off .

when i got hit i had my buddy at the dealership paint both parts

the top cap is smooth as glass, i would get the smooth bumper cap if i was you then paint it and not worry about sanding down the stock one, i dont know the part number but the dealership should be able to get it for you

my friend just hit the air dam with some promoter then gloss black and some clear...he said he does them alot and that sanding it down is pretty much useless becuase the air dam flexes and the paint chips to easily...mines still looks good with the texture IMO
