Im in the process of debadging my truck. I got all the modlings off but cant manage to get the pinstripe off without just usin finger nails. Any tricks to it? And yes im usein a heat gun.

 

fold up an edge of it with your fingernail and try to use some dental floss w/ that heat gun and start sawing at the pinstripe with the floss...

 

get an earaser wheel for an griner ar a drill and it should take off without hurting the paint just dont leave it in one spot for to long or u'll burn the paint they sell eraser wheels at any auto body store make sure to ask the clerk if thats correct my bro works at an auto body shop and thats how he's always done it.

i did mine by with a fingernail. but after working in a body shop i know that you can use an eraser wheel. it goes on a air tool like a cut off wheel. then you buff out where it was and your good to go. good luck

 

I got it with a spatula(HAHA never thought of that would you?). I put a small amount of heat on the hole strip and once you start just push down hard on the plastic spatula and it comes right off.
