you can use an eraser wheel or pinstripping remover wheel, bolts up to a drill (keep it under 2000rpm and it wont hurt paint) and it will roll it all off, i used it to get off all the molding and badge adhesive works great, you could probaby ask this question in the show and shine section for more responses

The cheapest and easiest way is called Goof off lite. I got tar all over my truck and used it. Works great. Anything that you use may take the wax off, so you'll have to wax off, wax on. LOL You can get it home depot or lowes. Takes it right off and does hurt the paint.

Cool

Varsol or paint thinner should work and will not harm the paint. Soak a soft cloth in it and rub gently. Wash off with soap and water then wax. I use it to get tar off and I think it will work on tree sap.

Diesel or kerosene works well.

I had the exact same problem a little while back. I was told by a member of Silveradoss.com to use Rain-X. I figured I would try it. It worked great on tree sap. It doesn't hurt the paint and it is fairly cheap. Try it and you will not be disapointed.

i wouldnt use paint thinner either, the name of the substance just sounds dangerous to use to get tree sap off of paint. interesting about the rain-x
