Default How To: Clear Corners

Hey guys finally have a second set of corners and some free time. Anyone give me a brief run down how to pull them apart?? Thanks

oven preheat to = 250*
timer 15min

remove and pry apart . . . use RTV to seal them again

Are you talking about the turn signals or the headlight? The above will work on both but on mine the amber lense could not be removed from the turn signals.... I found that out after i took it apart...

yea you gotta replace the turn signals with some $25ish ones off ebay for the cleared look.

as for the headlights, if you are not comfortable with using the oven then get out there with a lot of flathead screwdrivers and a razor knife and carefully go to work. try not to break the tabs. and dont let your fingers touch the shiny part inside the lens

sucessful or not? i've only managed to find threads about doing it on the sierra lights not the silvy's

oh yeah, there's a lot of people with silvys that have had it done.

there's even a guy here at PT that does it for people.

The amber part should come out. I've given them a good look over. Thanks for the step by step I appreciate it
