I just got some for my truck and installed them flawlessly (love them! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> ) yet, they need to be aimed. 01Silverado (Kurt) came over and said the hi's look fine, but the low's need to be adjusted horizontally.

After sitting (and continueing to) be on hold with GM in hopes they could tell me, I've given up and hopefully one of you guys know how to do this? (please save me from this trance-like jungle music they're STILL playing while I'm on hold....come to think of it I should offer some advice in their music area...they have some really poor taste).

Also, in addition to where the *****/screws are, anyone have any suggestions as to how I should aim them? (distance, angle, i.e. mark off tape on my garage door and line up lights on that)

I'd appreciate any help you guys can offer.

 

you can only adjust the whole headlight either up or down. you cannot adjust them seperatly. :gun

aight, that's what I was beginning to figure. I fooled around with the lights a bit and couldn't find anything else.

When ive watched them aim headlights @ work, they usually pull up to about 10-15' or so away from the bodyshop's garage door. So, if you have a dark colored wall (or just possibly wait till dusk) you could do that to @ least help you see the beams while adjusting 'em
