I don't know how or why, but my driver's side hood spring pooped out the other day. I was working under the hood and noticed that it took a little extra effort to open. I checked and saw that the spring was sitting on the wheel well.

I was able to put it back on using pliers to grab the spring and compress it a bit, but it seems that it needs an extra revolution to be on right, which seems impossible.

Anyone know of an easy way to get it back on.
