most people stick between 6k-8k, i got 8k. and yes, the kit is really good quality and you cant beat lifetime warranty. its all plug and play, took 10 mins to install.

Wanting to order them tonight. 35 or 55 watts? I want the most light possible without pissing off everyone infront of me, or getting a ticket. Are they out of the slim kits too?

theres so much room with our trucks that you dont need the slim kits. and i got 35w and they're bright as hell. 55w is crazy and also requires relays i believe.

Yours look a little on the bright side by the pic, the 6K 35W is probably enough for me. Also going to buy a set for the gf's civic at the same time. I was just thinking they might have the slims in stock. I need them by wed for my drive to Ca. Who else sells them in case there on bk order?

ebay.. to make a long story short i did alot of reading and there all pretty much made overseas so why not go with the cheapest ones if there all the same. Had problems with my first set on my last vehicle and they were kinda expensive and came in a fancy box, i figure if there gonna be crap might as well get em cheap. after lots of searching on here and hearing people say they've had no problems with em i got mine from the seller HIDgate i believe is the name off ebay, quick shipping and well made plug/play slim balast kit that if i rem right cost the same as what the op posted.
Had mine in headlights and fogs for about a yr and not one complaint, except for getting flashed by other drivers sometimes cause there so bright

I had 6Ks in my headlights and fogs on my dmax from hidgate and didnt have any problems with them until I drove through high water that came over the hood(lifted dmax on 35s pretty damn high water )then the fogs were finicky and shortly after the headlights got finicky. I replaced all of them and they worked fine again. I had about a year and a half on the first set before I submarined my truck.

either 5or6k i forget id have to look on the box, and 35w. Just headlights are way better than stock halogen, with the fogs on its plenty bright, and once they get going they draw less than a stock bulb would. Only downside ive found is the stock gmc headlights have the ridges built into the insides on the lowside that makes the pattern not as smooth as say a projector or clear housing, so ive had to adjust them to stop getting flashed from oncoming traffic, but still way better than stock lights..
Im really tempted to get some for the highs also and then get all three to stay on at once, i can only imagine how well those dark back roads would turn into daytime at will..
